Can you see the darkness see the way it hides
can you feel happiness can your see the light
can you see the ghosts that wander through these streets
can you feel the pain of everyone you meet
maybe its time that you get some friends
admit the ones you had were all pretend
its hard to go much farther when youre living on the edge
life cant get much harder when you're at your limit
do you walk with caution watching every step
can you calm your thoughts
when's the last time that you slept
do you feel insane and always out of place
do you seem to always need your space
maybe it's time that you get real friends
admit the previous you cannot mend
I know it's hard it's hard to hit rock bottom
but it can only get better and better and better
and better and better and better and better
and then you'll blossom
one day in the future when you've overcome
and cut off the source that all this pain was from
you will see how much it matters
too realize what it is your after
maybe it's time to change your ways
stop doing the same thing every day
it'll be okay though scary at first
but don't you fret and don't regret when you were at your worst
because it won't get worse
